How to shoot the Moon.

I recently tried to capture the Harvest Full Moon and finally figured it out. At first I kept getting really glowing white blobs and was shooting at slow shutter speeds. I was doing long drag timed shots. I then read on google on how fast the moon is actually rotating with the earth as we are in orbit. Once reading this I upped my shutter speed to around to 1/250th then changed my aperture to F11 since I was basically shooting into infinity. After a few practice shots it began to come together. This final shot was done on Canon 7D with 70-200 on tripod using timed shutter release at ISO 100, F11, 1/250th. Good luck and enjoy!
